I am Gerardo Fundora, and my journey into novel writing began about eight or nine months ago, starting as something I did purely for fun. What began as writing for entertainment has evolved into a passionate pursuit of storytelling that connects with readers on a deeper level. In November, I published my first book, which is now available on Amazon, marking a significant milestone in my author journey.

My Writing Philosophy

My name is Gerardo Manuel Fundora, and I write stories shaped by real life. What began as writing for personal fulfillment grew into a deeper purpose-to tell honest stories rooted in experience, faith, and the realities of the world around us.
I draw inspiration from current events, personal challenges, and moments that define the human journey. My novels focus on courage, redemption, and the quiet strength found in perseverance. I believe the most powerful stories are the ones grounded in truth.

My Journey as a Writer

I didn't start writing with the goal of publishing. Writing was something I did for myself-an outlet for reflection and meaning. Over time, those stories demanded to be shared. In 2025, I published my first novel, marking the beginning of my journey as a novelist.
Each book I write is influenced by lived experience, not theory. I write from what I've seen, felt, and learned, shaping stories that feel authentic and relatable.

The Perspective Behind the Stories

I'm a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and my family plays a central role in who I am and how I see the world. I'm also a lifelong New York Yankees fan, a student of economics and business, and someone deeply grateful for every chapter of this American life.
These experiences inform my writing. They ground my stories in realism, purpose, and faith-without exaggeration or pretense.
